Swing Copters

Swing Copters perfectly adheres to the old adage, 'easy to learn, but difficult to master.' Playing Swing Copters is as easy as tapping the screen of your phone or tablet, but if you actually want to pass through the swinging hammers of doom, then you are going to have to learn a few techniques, such as when to tap, when not to tap, and most importantly, how many times to tap. The premise is simple and it involves a tiny brown creature with prodigiously big eyes that just so happens to have a propeller beanie placed on his head. He sores through the clouds in a zig-zag fashion, and as the player, you have to tap the screen to keep this cute little creature away from the borders of the screen as well as the numerous swinging hammers. Tap too fast and you will lose control of the little fella. Tap too slow and you will not be able to recover in time.
There is definitely a bit of strategy involved, and similar to Flappy Bird, it can become quite frustrating if you take it too seriously and forget that the whole idea is to have fun. Actually, this is the word I would use to describe Swing Copters: fun. There is something inherently fun about this, and it is definitely the perfect way to tap all of your worriers away. :)

Viber Out

Viber is an app that lets users send unlimited messages and pics over wi-fi or mobile networks. What separates it from other similar apps is the ability to call local and international non-Viber numbers using pre-paid credit. For someone like me who rarely makes phone calls or for someone who does not want to be tied down to a provider, Viber Out is a really neat idea, especially since credit can be purchased just like any other in-app content using your payment information.
Phone calls are taxed by the minute and vary depending on the country your calling, but a handy list shows you just how much everything costs.
All in all, this is something to consider if you are a poor student who barely has any cash for video games or someone who only makes brief calls.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley is a surreal experience that I wish it never ended. But I also believe that this is what makes it so special. Unlike traditional games, where the sole objective is to do the same thing over and over ad nauseam, Monument Valley exists as a way to immerse the player in a pulchritudinous world replete with secrets. It wants to amaze you, not waste your precious time. While it is technically a puzzle game, I never thought of it as one. I was simply interacting with the environment, not to solve a puzzle, but to unravel a mystery.
Monument Valley is more than just a game or an app; it is a fascinating journey that everyone should undertake.

Embark On Your Very Own Fantasy Life

What if one day you opened the window to your room and discovered an entirely different world replete with fantastical creatures and lots of adventures? Would you want to be part of this fantasy world?
Just as the title suggests, Fantasy Life is a life sim set in a medieval fantasy realm. Professions differentiate Fantasy Life from games such as Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing by allowing you to choose your very own life and the activities that you would like to perform. Furthermore, professions complement each other and can be changed freely. Local and online multiplayer is supported, as well as StreetPass functionality.
The game will available in European territories on September 26th and in the U.S. on October 24th for the Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS.
