PSP Galore: Valkyria Chronicles 3 Is Getting A Fan Translation

Tired of all the waiting and begging, a couple of fans across the internet have decided to take matters into their own hands and translate Valkyria Chronicles 3 by themselves. With the current state of the PSP in the US and Europe, and SEGA's own cautiousness, VC 3 was tragically abandoned in the West. Fortunately, all the sadness and frustration have given birth to an amazing translation project.
For those who do not know, Valkyria Chronicles 3 is a strategy RPG developed exclusively for the PSP by the makers of Wild Arms themselves, Media.Vision. The game is considered a side-story that takes place during the events of the original game, which was released for the PS3 in 2008. Valkyria Chronicles 3 tells a dark story about a penal squadron, which is made out of dangerous individuals, sent out by the Gallian army to perform impossible tasks.
The second Valkyria Chronicles showed everyone that it was indeed possible to have a fully relised home console experience on a portable device, something that was taken even further with Valkryria Chronicles 3 by improving on both the gameplay and the graphics for an even better playtime. It is a real shame that SEGA passed on this, but not all is lost as fans across the internet have now something to be cheerful about.

You can follow their progress right here.
